• 1LB Spicy Rye malt, use in rye lager, IPA, and specialty beers or to build flavor or add interest in other styles
• Use in 5% increments until desired spicy rye flavor, golden color, and honey aroma is achieved

• Specialty Grain: Rye malt is considered a specialty grain and is typically used as a small percentage of the total grain bill, allowing brewers to fine-tune flavor profiles.
• Wort Color: 3.7 Lovibond (Light straw color) Protein: 1% Moisture: 4.5% max. Extract (dry): 84.0% min. Diastatic Power: 62 Lintner min.

Viking rye malt gives the beverage a characteristic rye and honey aroma, reminiscent of rye bread or pumpernickel loaf. Viking Rye Malt can be used in brewing specialty rye beers, Rye Lager, Rye Ale (Roggenbier), and Kentucky Common. Nowadays, more and more beers even from the IPA family feature rye malt. The malt gives a golden color and a typical rye flavor.
